Cancellation & Refund Policy

• You may cancel an order for a full refund any time before it ships. Email hello@myarborbuddy.com with your order number as soon as possible.
• Once a tree has been prepared for freight or handed to the carrier, the order is in transit and the return terms below apply instead of cancellation.

Inspect your tree on delivery. If it arrives damaged or in poor health, email us a clear photo within 5 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you. This is separate from, and in addition to, our 1-Year Alive & Thrive Guarantee, which covers eligible trees that do not survive their first year.

• Because live trees are perishable, custom-pulled, and shipped by freight, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns once an order has shipped, except where required by law.
• If a return is authorized by us in writing, the customer is responsible for return freight unless the return is due to our error or a damaged/defective tree.
• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5-10 business days of approval (or of our receiving the returned item, where a return is required). Original freight charges are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error.

• Freight/shipping charges, except where a refund is due to our error or a damaged tree.
• Trees damaged by improper planting, care, weather, or neglect after delivery.
• Orders refused or undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
